| I'm Kate, a nineteen year old living in West Kelowna, BC. I share a basement suite with my boyfriend of two plus years, Geoff. He works as a cook, and I hold down the fort. That is to say, I'm playing housewife. I enjoy hosting parties and generally entertaining our friends. In our free time, we're a little geeky, enjoying our Xbox 360 and PS3. My current interests are mainly domestic: I enjoy learning better techniques for cleaning and maintaining my home, learning to cook new dishes, redecorating our place. Improving my health and my self-image are also very important, although I struggle with a very disordered relationship with food, and life in general. Some of my lesser interests include Japanese culture, Cannabis culture, everything vintage, reading books (especially by Francesca Lia Block), and listening to music, such as Metric (my current favorite). |
